Today, a company´s existing resources often seem no longer sufficient for future-oriented innovation.  Managerial attention and financial resources are diverted to solve day-to-day problems or have been downsized to maximize profitability. All the while business models become more challenging; organizations face huge transformations and have to innovate.  

Collaborative Advantage is an approach developed by Raphael Boemelburg and Oliver Gassmann that allows leaders to rise to the challenge by skillfully orchestrating agile collaborative networks with customers, partners, and start-ups. This approach was developed over the course of five years in discussions with exceptional leaders such as Satya Nadella (CEO Microsoft), Mathias Döpfner (CEO Springer), Alexander Birken (CEO Otto), and John Hennessey (Chairman Alphabet / Google).
